"I would want you to know that every part of you is magnificent - your
ego, intellect, body, and spirit. It's who you are - a beautiful product
of this Universe's creation. Every aspect of you is perfect. There's nothing to let go, nothing to forgive, everything to attain. You already are everything you need to be. It can seem so complicated, but its not." Anita Moorjani
To Me, Dog's come by their magnificence easy. Simple and easy to share. It is this I marvel, and desire their presence. To be more Dog.

This year I turn half a century old (along with friends from highs school and college:). Celebrate all! It is something to embrace. Perhaps easier for me to say, youngest of six, I will always be the youngest. Imagine for a moment if I wasn't, I can't. Still, to think, we have been around for 50 years. In contrast, a dog who might live to 14 or 15 years, this seems too short. In essence they live bright, and loud, without reluctance, and full of wonder and joy. Compare a Zebra Finch, who lives to maybe eight or ten years old. What about an elephant, Whale or Red Wood, now they have stories to tell, and probably don't think twice about age. They simply pass from one sunrise to the next, until no more. ahhhh.

I have decided, unlike the whale, elephant, and red wood to celebrate all year long! Celebrate live like the dog bright, loud, without reluctance, in wild abandon, wonder and joy. Through out the year I have special events. Some events will be small and others large. Such as, a trip to Baja, Mexico where I will celebrate my 50th with Ma on her 83rd birthday. In addition a special person will be there too. My Aunt, Mary K - whom I was named after. MK has a milestone birthday this year as well. I have not seen her in at least a decade, trice that for my mother. MK is the sister of my Dad.
The 26th of each month will be marked by doing something special for myself. Such as disappear for the day in the woods with my dogs, walk the Fields of Joy, go through boxes of old stuff from the past, romp with puppy friends, and who knows.

So, here we are,
on the 26th of January,
I have created this blog.

A list of things to do this year
(As time progresses, I expect it will grow.)
- Celebrate my Magnificence (just as Anita Moorjani explains.)
- Express myself with wild abandon, example, swear more.
I'm not one to swear, but thought I might try, see was it's like. I started with a post on my facebook page of a weather map. The map showed how totally fucked we are with an expected fucking snow storm. It's suppose to dump
shitloads of fucking snowy shit on New England. I can tell you who is
totally screwed, my friend, who has drive home from on Tuesday, from
Maryland, in piss ass blizzard in order to be at fucking work on
stinkin' Wednesday to treat sniveling snot nosed gerber units who got the bastardly flu. (In all seriousness, drive safe friend, your boys- Ben and Bodie- are expecting you.)
- Be More Dog!
